Attention Staff
This week we launched our new ticketing system. You should have received two different emails
If you have not completed this activation please do so ASAP. If you did not receive either email, write to me directly at [email protected].
This new system will help you communicate with us in a more transparent and efficient way and allow us to more effectively keep track of all the incidents/requests that come into our office. We have tailored the system to be the one place where ALL Incidents are reported and where all requests are made. Of course, there are those emergencies that for various reasons do require a call, which are as follows:
For everything else we
require a ticket to be created in our new system.
This new system brings with it a new portal that you will use to submit and keep tabs on your tickets. Along with this is the form to create a ticket which may take some getting used to.
It also has a “Solutions” section with answers to common questions and tips for common issue. We would like the chance to teach anyone that wants to learn how that system can help them resolve computer and Internet issues.
Therefore, we will be having Introductory classes in the newly remodeled IT office.
***Each staff member or scholarship worker, who regularly works with a computer or printer (or other CFN IT equipment) will required to take ONE brief class on this new ticketing system. These classes will be held each Friday Morning at 11am and again at 4pm (Please note these classes are only 10 to 15 minutes long). We will start these trainings tomorrow, March 1st.
