IT Support Portal - Chat feature, did you know you can do that?

Hi
We would like to inform you of a feature in the IT Support Portal ticketing system that will enable you to talk to us directly from your desktop. Did you know that you can do that? Yes, you can ....
Open your internet browser of choice to the CFNI INTRANET page, here is a link http://intranet.cfni.org and look for an icon on the bottom right corner of the page. You can access the intranet page on your smart phone too!!
It looks like this.
Left click on it and you will have a window that pops up, it look like this.
You can start communicating with us directly in a live environment. Just start typing where it says "Reply here ..." Please note that we will not always answer immediately, but as soon as we see a message, we will respond to you as soon as we can. Your text message does not go away, we will see it. You can use this chat to ask us any IT related question, to get the help you need as speedily as possible, like ....

Just ask us, we will advise you accordingly, if we deem it necessary, we can turn your chat session directly into a ticket on the support portal, including all the chat activity.
We would also like you to know that once you have created a ticket in the IT Support Portal, that you frequently check back into the portal to get any feedback and/or progress on your ticket. IT Support staff often replies back requesting information or provides feedback, and it has come to our attention that a few days often passes before any progress is made on a ticket.
Lastly, but not the least, we request that you close the ticket once you are satisfied that we have completed your "Service Request" or "Report Incident". When you close the ticket, we know the issue has been resolved. It closes the loop for us and keeps the number of issues that we need to address to a minimum and clears our work space.
